Final Blog

Strengths:
My personal strengths are that I lead by example. I go to all my assignments  and I'm a senior so the juniors look up to me. CJ calls that responsibility, he's my most loyal subject and he is a friend of the crown, dilly dilly. In all seriousness I want to be a leader in the classroom and at times I can be. I love sports

Weakness:
Giving Cooper and Gabby aux in class is my greatest weakness. I also mess around way too often and I have trouble getting my blogs turned in. I feel like the blogs don't matter but thats just my opinion, they're dumb. To the pit of misery with these blogs!

Plan: My plan is to avoid everyone because they hold me down. Especially Gabby and Cooper. Actually I just need to do my blogs and not get sidetracked like I have been the first semester.

Weekly Blog Post #1

http://www.espn.com/blog/sweetspot/post/_/id/83765/bryant-rizzo-must-find-their-swing-on-flight-back-to-chicago

This package is over the NLCS game 2 where the Chicago Cubs and the Los Angeles Dodgers squared off while LA had a 1-0 series lead. Another great article that covered everything needed. Really nice job and theres lots of good stuff that can come from watching these professionals do their jobs.

MLBN Showcase: Cubs vs Nationals 6/26

This MLB Network Showcase takes us to Washington, D.C. with Paul Severino and John Smoltz to see the defending champions from Chicago take on the Nationals. They took the viewer through a rundown from both sides of the key plays and made it sound like they were watching it with us. The reporter did such a good job describing each play and how it affected the rest of the game. Using this to model our work for GameDay Northwest would be such a good idea.

The Giancarlo Stanton Trade to the Yankees: ESPN First Take

The reporters on this show that reported that the 2017 MVP Giancarlo Stanton was traded to the New York Yankees, many experts and sports writers thought that the Miami Marlins got too little for the superstar slugger. The reporters did a really nice job from taking the story from two different angles. I feel like I will use what I learned watching this on my future projects. It's obvious the Marlins didn't get what they should've gotten for their captain in the right field. Derek Jeter, the new Marlins GM and former captain/shortstop for the Yankees made the trade and is now being questioned for this trade if he was just trying to better the team he so much loves.

Weekly Blog

http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/21607835/breaking-seven-finalists-race-sign-shohei-ohtani

Shohei Ohtani is the slugging ace superstar that just got cleared to play in the states for any team that he wants, any team that will pay him the most money also. In five years in Japan, Ohtani hit 48 home runs and slugged around .500 he also is the top pitcher in Japan in his five years. There are currently seven major league ball clubs that are still in the running to land this super star. The others, Ohtani turned them away because the market was too small and he wants to play on the west coast.

This was a really well done blog that described the information very well and shared all the information the reader needed. I will use what I learned when writing on the website and on my blogs.
