e-Communication Reflection 2016

What I learned in Video class this year is how to use advance shots, create news packages, and how to make a movie using storyboards and a script. Mr. Cooper taught us how to use a dolly and implement them into our productions. We would watch ONW Now every week and Mr. Allam would have us critique them with what we've learned.

I learned through visuals from Mr. Cooper and also paying attention during the power points and following directions. I asked questions when appropriate and payed attention to detail.

All of the information learned this year is important to me because I want to be a video editor in my future. I find video very interesting and very important. Everything we learned impacted all of us in the class differently based on what we want to continue onto in our ecomm career.

My greatest strengths are probably editing, attention to detail while out filming, and operating the boom mic. My greatest weaknesses.. well where do I start? I can't focus when working with friends, i can't make the quality work that i'd like to as a student. And I know I can improve a lot but it was hard when Mr. Coper made it seem so easy just to act out of line and i know next year that i wont do that.

With what i've learned this year ill use it for SID and a summer job or internship anywhere. I am highly skilled in video editing and hope to do more of that and have a career in video production. During my time in SID I hope ill be going to the sporting events and filming.

I would change my attitude in this class, i was too laid back and careless and my grade slipped when it was too late. I really regret a lot about his year and plan on doing ten times better. My technical skills improved greatly but my wrk quality was still very poor and i plan on doing much better next year.

In conclusion, My year in Video was awful and noting to be proud of and i would love an A because you're a cool dude but ill probably be a B because our project was better than the ol' smelly rock
